Issue has been resolved. It ended up being caused...

Issue has been resolved. It ended up being caused from running the software thru XP (command prompt) and not pure DOS.

I did forget about that trick. Still doesn't help with the 2-tone issue that you are having but it gives you more channels anyway.

I actually haven't put the new control channels in and am picking up everything on my Pro 106 and Pro 196. I seem to be picking up all traffic as far as I can tell.

You should only have to program the control...

You should only have to program the control frequencies into your scanner according to the manual for the RS scanners. (I own both and had to double check myself.)
