Is there a trick to keeping the scanner feed 'awake' while using an iPhone? The feed won't run in the background when I want to open other app's either. Suggestions?

Ok, it was MY mistake.

I tried to download the file WITHOUT going through the MediaFire storage site. Whoops.

I did it the right way by clicking on the link which took me to the download area...

I'm getting an error message when trying to 'open' the carver/scott.p500 file. It states my version of the software is older than the file created so I must upgrade.

It's the FCC's requirement. Emergency services radio must identify themselves on the air and one way of doing that is to have a computer generate the county call sign and transmit it by morse code....

Question Plan 1 or 2?

Hi - I was thinking the MN ARMER system was a Plan 2 - for settings in the scanner. I've set mine to use Plan 2 for a few months now and it does receive. -Rob.
