Smile Same Codes

on your 106,first off put it in the local weather and then push function then WX,it should go into wx standby mode,it won't decode same codes if your scanning, when you scan in wx priority mode and the 106 gets a weather alert it will display weather alert?.
I hope this helps a little!!!!................73's Brian

Unhappy Don't always get weather alerts

Hope someone can help me. I have 2 weather radios, one is a Midland and one is a oregon Scientific. I use to get my alerts all the time now the problem is sometimes I get alerts and sometimes I don't. Same with the test's on Wednesday mornings. I have taken them in different rooms of the house with still the same results. Sometimes one of the radios would go off for an alert when the other one doesn't. I have the right same code in for our area which is Northern Colorado 008069, with the Freq. set on 162.475 That's the most clear freq.. So if anyone could give me hints to try or if am doing something wrong, please let me know...Thanks in advance.

Check that you get good reception by listening to the broadcasts. If the signal is breaking up or has lots of static, your radio won't reliably decode the SAME tones. If so and your radio has an external antenna connector, you might try that. Look at this site NOAA Weather Radio and verify which station covers your area.
