wr-100 problems

hi,
i have a midland wr-100 weather radio. When an alert, warning,or advisory comes out it comes out fine alerting me. the problem is how do i reset it from flashing accross the screen and the light? can anyone help that would be great!

It's working as it was designed to do. When the alert(s) have timed out, it will automatically go back into standby mode on its own. Also if another alert is sent, while it is still showing an active one, it will reactivate and show the information for the one it just received. It's doing its job just fine.
