Default Tracking the Eye.net

Does anyone use or know anything about this software by HurricaneSoftware.com. Are there any directions or help groups availabe? I ask a question at their website, but I have not heard anything back yet. Thanks in advance--Gary

Well, not an exact answer to your question, but with TD4 lurking around West FL and ANA eyeballiing it, have you tried this site:

Track Tropical Depression Four, Track Tropical Storm Ana, Track Tropical Storm Bill / Stormpulse / Hurricanes, severe weather, tracking, mapping

I used to use Eye Of The Storm tracking Software, but he has had to drop the expense of updating the storm data rapidly - Still available as freeware now, I think, and pretty good program. He's the one who recommeded Stormpulse as a good substitute..

Thanks for the cool link. I hope it isn't freeware, I paid $35 to register it last week.--Gary

I have used tracking the eye for many years and I have found it to be the best of those available. I update every year and it is worth every penny. I have found their predictions to be right on on almost every storm. If I can help with it let me know.

It's not software, so obviously not freeware. It's a website, and it's open to everyone, so there's no cost involved.

Tracking the eye.net is the name of the program (software) From it you can download right to your computer the coordinates of the storm as well as the forcast path, with just one click. It has other features too many to mention at this time of night. If I understand it if you paid the $35 you need to download and install the software.

Default Tracking The Eye

I have it and use it and on the whole I like it. The only complaint I have with the software is that on my computer (I use Windows 2000 and an older model computer) it runs very slow. On later software and a newer/faster computer it may do very well.

I have downloaded the software and have it running. I was expecting the software to update the locations of the storms automatically, but I have not seen it do that unless I close the software and then restart it. I was hoping for a user manual of some type or a discussion forum somewhere. I realize the storm data only updates a couple times a day. How do I update the position of the storm manually if I cannont be done automatically by the software?--Gary

There is a button on the bottom line ( the first one ) that manually updates the storm. Try that.
