It's too bad -- they were one of the more interesting ones to listen to back in the 1980s, and I seem to recall they were the ones that had a 'DX Club' with a very very nice newsletter that they'd mail out to members all over the world 3 or 4 times a year.

But unlike the USA & a few other countries, Sweden doesn't really have the need to spend millions of dollars a year trying to convince the populace of other nations that Sweden is nice, and the people that Sweden might want to influence mostly have access to the internet/web these days, so they'll just communicate with them that way.

Whereas the USA for some reason still feels obligated to court to the savages of Africa & other places with news, information & music in their native dialect on shortwave or FM relay.

For some reason? Music attracts listeners and many in the Third World haven't yet caught on to the fact it's all BS propaganda. If they had the internet capabilities of the First World they'd find out real quick and VOA would be talking to the wind.

Uh oh, you're not going to win any friends with that one.
