I've been hearing this station on 6770.0 kHz AM nearly every evening for the past few months. I have never heard an ID and there's no (legal) shortwave broadcast stations associated with 6770 kHz. The programming consists of old radio programs, complete with vintage ads and audience laugh tracks. Audio quality is sometimes actually quite good.

6770 is right below the "43 meter" pirate band which, according to my research is 6800 to 7000 kHz. I know that 6775 is a MARS frequency but the only things I've heard from 6770 to 7000 are pirate stations (usually from 6925 to 6975 in 5 kHz steps with 6925, 6930, 6945, 6950 and 6955 being the busiest ones).

However, most pirates will broadcast in short bursts and then go QRT for obvious reasons (i.e. reducing the chance of being DFed by the FCC). The station on 6770, however, seems to be operating continuously. I'm actually hearing it right now with some fading even though propagation is pretty terrible for this band at 5:30 eastern time (2130 UTC).

Anybody else hear this station? Any idea what the deal is?

Also heard this Pirate station@ 1145 UTC on 6770khz. A decent signal here in the northeast USA on 11/11/2015 Broadcasting in AM and playing all the old radio shows. No ID. A pleasure for sure. I can get hooked on this one!
