ALE (or Automatic Link Establishment) has been, and continues to be, one of the most popular modes reported on the UDXF and other places. This, coupled with software like PC-ALE or MultiPSK, makes this mode very easy to hear, even on simple portables.
With more and more organizations using this mode, it's a huge task to compile the various users of this mode. SM editor Hugh Stegman (who still has the Utility Planet blog) has quite a list of ALE users and frequencies, found here...

Remember that propagation has as much to do with hearing a signal as the actual use of the frequency. Don't be discouraged if you don't hear something the first time.
