Analog Freqs - 2008 Illinois State Fair?

Does anyone know what analog freqs are in use at the State Fair this year? I have access to freqs on the portable from just above the aircraft band all the way through 470.00Mhz even, FM only. (unless I take my base scanner with. Then I have everything FM only except on the aircraft band which is AM)

I'll be there rather soon, so any fast replies will help!

Probably not going to be much, in the way up Public Safety that is. State on SC21, Springfield Police & Fire on 800mhz. C-MED (EMS) is on 155.22.

155.46 is old ISP operations channel at the fair.

Sangamon County Sheriff dispatch & car-to-car frequencies may also be in use. (VHF)

With State fair just a day away, anyone have a more recent VHF/UHF guide or frequencies to monitor? I probably won't be taking the Digital scanner since it is a base scanner. Probably a Wouxun radio only.

I doubt you will find much on vhf or uhf analog. Since the switch to Starcom21, the state police have used talkgroups 13063 and 13064 for State Fair operations on starcom. I haven't listened in yet this year but I am guessing that is still the case. You may have some luck with the following frequencies......155.055 I- Reach, 154.725 (City wide Emergency and backup for city p.d. in case starcom goes down). 460.625 and 154.19, city fire dispatch only. (City fire is on old analog trunked system) 155.475 old Ispern, 154.86 Sangamon County old "channel 4".

I did hear a LOT of state fair activity regarding arrests for d/c on tg 30341

After looking in the db, I don't see tg 30341 listed anywhere, but it is grouped with ITTF tallgroups in Ill.
It was worth listening to...
