ScannerCast software issues

I installed the new ScannerCast software and I do not get the option to select the microphone jack for my audio input.

It was working ok with the last software.

Any ideas?

What do you get?

ScannerCast depends on your Windows Audio settings as far as which input to use. You need to go into the volume controls and select the Mic checkbox for the sound card you're using for ScannerCast.

Basically, it depends on how your sound card describes itself to applications. My sound card makes both MIC and LINE inputs available to applications, so I see both choices in ScannerCast. On other sound cards, you have to make a selection in Windows Audio settings (as Chauffeur6 suggests) for which input to use.

Windows is just wonderful, isn't it??

I think our definitions of wonderful are not the same.
