Morris Twp/Roxbury going to Morris County Comm Center

Starting April 1, 2011 - Morris Township will contract with the Morris County Communications Center for all of their dispatching. A sign of more towns to follow as the County would like to have all 38 towns under its proposed new center.

Roxbury PD

Roxbury PD is testing on MUN PD 3, I'm guessing they will be using this when the switch on their new date of 9/15?

NJSP Made reference on the radio yesterday that one of the dispatch centers were changing over today (14th), and that the phones had already been moved over and they could not reach the PD. I can only assume they were talking about Roxbury.

Heard the Comm Center Dispatch Co. # 1 EMS around 0800. There was some activity on the PD frequency at that time also.

I just heard the county dispatch 36B and 36T2 to a car accident at the Roxbury Diner. Turned out to be the Randolph Diner.

Does this mean Roxbury is being dispatched by Morris County?

Yeah, they switched on the 14th, not the 15th, so technically he won the bet! :D

So we've confirmed PD on MUN PD 3....what talkgroup did Fire and EMS go to? Are the pages being simulcasted on the Morris County UHF Dispatch frequency?

Pages going out over just 476.2875 PL 71.9. I did check this for tonight's 6:30 test and nothing on 478.60 PL 162.2. I still have to check and listen if 478.60 will be used for FG.

Call this morning and didn't hear anything on 478.60 between the units.I'm assuming this is the way it's suppose to work? The old frequency will be used as a FG ?
