Olmsted county LEC 1 and LEC 2 purpose.

I have a couple questions regarding Olmsted county Sheriffs' Department trunked system.

1) Is the following still true for LEC 1 and LEC 2 talkgroups?

LEC 1 is used for dispatch.
LEC 2 is for information/non-emergency traffic.


2) Is LEC 2 ever used as dispatch when they hold traffic on main dispatch (LEC 1)?
(for example they might say, "hold traffic...all units switch routine over to...whatever")

You are correct.

LEC 2 is also rebroadcast on VHF. Fire Paging and LE Paging (Coroner and Tac Team) are toned on this frequency.
