"Monitoring Time" magazine always has a big list of airshows. Search around and you can find all the freqs you need. You will need a military-air capable scanner.
Thanks Rich, most of my stuff is still in boxes and the pc is barely working!
Lee: enjoy it, I wish I could come down. Give us a report. Roanoke Approach handles inbound flights, check 135.000 / 254.320. There is an FAA site on Candler's. Go here : http://flightaware.com/resources/airport/KLYH/procedures and scroll down to Terminal Procedures, most of the maps and diagrams will have frequencies. You can also do flight tracking there.
They were practicing yesterday. Did anyone get any frequencies? I've found a half dozen different frequency lists for them, but would prefer not to type all of them in.
The frequencies that RICHROWL listed above worked for listening to the Blue Angels during their flights today. I hope that they work for the show this weekend! I've heard that they sometimes change the frequencies for the actual show.
Evidently they must have flown too low at Lynchburg because they have grounded the Blue Angels for Maryland this week...Check out the posting in Maryland forum.....
Apparently, this wasn't their first problem. Their commander resigned yesterday and they cancelled more shows while the previous commander gets back into the loop. (No pun intended.)
