wright county encryption

how much of Wright conty is ENC because I have never herd any. but i herd that there was some so I just want to get this straight.

You wouldn't hear it if you have a scanner that mutes encryption.

From the little bit that I have listened to Wright County, I haven't noticed any encryption being used on the main channels. It does appear that Buffalo PD's car to car/admin channel is always encrypted, not sure about others.

in wright county i have noticed along with buffalo that howard lake, rockford and annandale are encripted

just a matter of time before they all go encrypted

25367 Howard Lake Police Encrypted
25368 Buffalo Police Encrypted
25370 Wright Co LE Special Investigations 1
25371 Wright Co LE Special Investigations 2
The following, according to my notes are switched ENC;
25362 Wright Co LE Channel 4
25363 Wright Co LE Channel 5

The reason Annandale, Buffalo and Howard LK are encrypted is because they are not main dispatch TG's. As stated in other posts on here about encryption. The media and others have proven their point about keeping main radio traffic in the clear, There are no plans to encrypt everything.
