I'm thinking of upgrading my feed with a new scanner. Is there a list of what scanners support alpha tags along with what software does? I don't want to be on the bleeding edge...

Thanks,

I know the Uniden DMA scanners (15, 396, 996) support tags - I wrote software to stream them. Current software to stream tags? I can't recommend any, since I don't do streaming any more, but there are at least a few. (Check the wiki pages on streaming.)

I supply my feed with a BCT15 and RadioFeed (Free). I recommend a scanner with "Record-out". You get a much better audio level.
There is a list of scanners that support alpha-tagging on here but I can't find it at the moment.
