There is currently a pretty good sized wild land fire burning near my location. It is called the "Chips Fire" due to it's proximity to Chips Creek in the Feather River Canyon.
Radio traffic for the fire can be heard on my Plumas County Scanner feed. Plumas County, California (CA) Live Police, Fire, and EMS Scanners on RadioReference.com
Scanning all known forest service frequencies including air to ground, and air to air, as well as the usual sheriff's office, CHP, fire and ambulance.
