yup
Re - San Bernardino County fire VHF patch channels - I know there was an earlier thread but I cant find it now. Anyone know where it is located?

On a different note -

From the 2012 San Bernardino County FD Radio handbook

Victor Valley area tac - 153.77 - no PL apparently

SCCA tower / Sta 319 - tac - 154.01 - no PL apparently

BDC Desert Tac - "V16" - 154.025 - no PL - river area

BDC Tac V19 - 154.325 - tone 7 - south desert area

BDC Tac V19 - 154.325 - countywide tac Red - no PL ???

BDC Tac - "V20" ( apparently stands for VHF Channel 20 ) - 155.40 - maybe no PL

BDC - CDF Tac 8 - CalFire BDU desert tac - 151.37

I assume that these are all "mobile only" channels

Can anyone confirm PL versus no PL?

Can anyone sort out BDC vs BDU freqs?

Can anyone confirm that any are actually in use?

All of the BDC V-xx channels are county wide and use tone 7 with the exception of V-16 which uses tone 5 and is restricted to the desert areas only. They are simplex TAC channels for use on incidents as needed.(The color reference is outdated channel designators.)
County 1-4 are VHF repeaters and can be patched to the 800 system as needed.
CalFire C-x for Command and T-x for tactical channels.
VFIRE21-26 are statewide fire interop.
The guide was not intended to be made public but as you can see their is no disclamer written prohibiting it either.

I would think there's an updated one posted each year. Whomever posted the 2012 booklet could simply post the new one assuming they are an inside source. However, I don't see anything here that isn't already in the RR "San Bern County" page. Why don't you just use that? I'm sure the info on how to operate their radios doesn't pertain to your scanner...right? Maybe I'm missing something here.

Well for me it's mostly sheer rote curiosity, most frequencies don't change all that much (if ever, there are plenty in there that I scan that I have never heard anything on!) Though, radio operation can be a fun read lol, I do use motorolas in my line of work, I'm just not with the fire dept.
