for some reason i cannot pick up Washington County FD on my pro 96. I programmed it with the info from radio reference and the additional freq's it said to add and offsets.
Frequency Table:
0: Base: 851.00625 MHz, Spacing: 6.25 kHz
1: Base: 762.00625 MHz, Spacing: 6.25 kHz
2: Base: 452.00000 MHz, Spacing: 6.25 kHz

Table for Pro-96/2096:
Ch Lo 8192
Ch Hi 12287
Base Freq 452.0
Offset 8192
Step 6.25
Anyone have any suggestions/hints?

I meant the actual file you are loading in the scanner ..... rename the extention to txt ex myfile.txt & add as an attachmnet

We're clearly mixing apples and oranges here, and coming up with grapefruits :.>>

I don't have a 96, but I think I see your problem. First off- rebanding has absolutely nothing at all to do with this system, since it's UHF. I would wipe those values out.

Next, examining the database entry for Washington county, I *think* you need the following settings;
(assuming here you're using Win96 - ARC96 won't be that far different...)

As this is a UHF P-25 system, you would leave the 3600 CC as normal, but the 9600 should say UHF

The custom table should be:

Line 1: Channel Lo 8192 Channel Hi 12287 Base Freq 452.0 Offset 8192 Step 6.25

These values come directly from the db. The other lines should likely be zeroed out

The freq table is likely what is derived using a Uniden scanner which has the capability to derive these stats automatically. It really should be labeled better in the db

If someone does get this working right, please post a pic so it can be captured into the wiki. It's very likely other 96/2096 owners trying to hear this system will have similar problems.

HTH...Mike
