Does anyone know when Superior PD will be switching to WISCOM?
This really should belong in the WISCOM thread, I think. Anyway, it would be a good bet the switch won't happen for a while.
Possibly not until next year. Both the County and the City are entirely narrowbanded and are keeping most, if not all, of their infrastructure for backup and secondary use. This is a different situation than across the border in Duluth and St. Louis County where they need to be switched by the end of the year.
It would almost be a guarantee that there will not be a major switch until after the new site is built. Coverage in the City is not spectacular even with Parkland online.
