Cortland County has the following seven frequencies licensed for use with their upcoming P25 system:
454.050 - (WPZN380 - Saia Communications)
454.075 - (WPWK680 - JPJ Electronic Communications)
454.225 - (WPWK686 - JPJ Electronic Communications)
454.275 - (WPWK688 - JPJ Electronic Communications)
454.400 - (WPWK690 - JPJ Electronic Communications)
454.500 - (WPWK693 - JPJ Electronic Communications)
454.625 - (WPVW655 - Saia Communications)
You won't find any standard YW Public Safety Pool Trunked licenses for these frequencies, they are all licensed under CP Part 22 VHF/UHF Paging to other entities as noted above.
It's not clear yet whether this system will be part of the CNYICC system, or will be independent, possibly with an ISSI connection to the CNYICC system to allow for roaming between the two systems.
If those of you in the area could keep an ear on those frequencies for activity, that would be great. I'm not going to create anything in the database until we know something is on the air, and can determine whether or not it's part of the CNYICC system.
Thanks!
