This setup is the W4COV-15 Digipeater. This Digi provides APRS coverage here in the Alleghany Highlands. Just a while back I got into APRS mobile thanks to my buddy Dave Wheeler K4WHE. But the problem I ran into was that we had little to no APRS coverage in our area. So The Virginia Mountain Amateur Radio Club and myself set up a this Digi on Warm Springs mountain in Bath County, Virginia. With an elevations of 3400 feet we opened up a large amount of coverage in the Alleghany Highlands. This set up is a Yaesu FT-1802 and a Kantronics KPC-3+ TNC. I had this setup supplied by a Astron RS-20A, But do to a power problem we ended up supplying this with a Astron RM-36MBB supply.
