This set up was in my 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. I have had a all kinds of setups in my Montero Sport. But I feel that this one was the best. This set up has a Kenwood TS-480HX, Kenwood TM-D710A, and a Kenwood TM-V71A. With the TM-D710A I used a Garmin Nuvi 350 for APRS. To allow the Nuvi to communicate with the D710A I use a Gtrans cable made by Argentdata.com. With the TS-480HX I used a Little Tarheel II on a ball mount placed on the side of my Montero. Along with that I used a LDG AT-100Pro auto tuner that allowed me to tune a G5RV in the field.

I used cardboard to make a template.

The 4x8mm screws that I used to mount the control heads were hard to find. The local hardware store didn't have any!! I recommend looking at your local hobby shop.

I am always throwing stuff into the back of my truck. So to protect my radios I built a box.

Nice looking install. I'm curious to see the antennas.

Are the transceivers mounted to the back of the rear seat, or some sort of panel that protects the seat? Either way, the protective box you built is a great idea.
