Bold Quest 13-2 (Atterbury/Jefferson/Muscatatuck/Fort Wayne)

Bold Quest 13-2 begins this week and runs through the month in Indiana. I should have freqs to post later, but I wanted to go ahead and post this to give a heads up to anyone in the area.

There's a little bit of everything...air band (VHF and UHF), military LMR, SATCOM, HF, and video downlinks. Should make for a good listening experience. I'll likely be able to catch a lot of the flying from here in Ohio, but I'll try to dig up the freqs for those of you in the vicinity of the action. The last two annual exercises have been very fun to listen to!

Fighter aircraft (at least those that are here so far) are all flying from Fort Wayne; the NATO AWACS is at Grissom. You should be able to hear them departing from there each day enroute to the ranges south of Indianapolis. Reception should be decent up to about 100 miles at the usual altitudes. I'm hearing them clearly from about 75 miles away while on range.

Anyone running a Mode-S receiver down there for this? Might be interesting info to pick up.

I haven't seen anything too out of the ordinary lately other than one of the E4B's a couple days ago.

The only things on Mode-S are probably NATO 07 (LX-N90450, hex 4D03C8) and any tankers they will use (MASH 81 is up today but it's the first I have heard this week). The Mirages were dragged overseas by a French KC-135, but I don't know if it stayed here or not.
