Also, my inside source said that the 0875 repeater just went up yesterday, and it's almost guaranteed the PL will change, so he advised me not to put anything in the DB yet for these 3...
I was told the hardware broadcasting the UHF-T channels was re-purposed for the new 463 channels. The 470 & 471 channels shouldn't be on the air anymore.
Testing going on right now on 463.1375/PL 229.1. Not sure if this will be the new 'Fire 2' channel, but the lo-band & UHF will be on 2-way simulcast for a year to give all departments the chance to fully cut-over.
The third channel possibly may be reserved for future use.
Whitehouse Rescue (22 Rescue), as with all EMS & Fire agencies in the county, are dispatched on AMBO-2 (155.205). EMS/Rescue agencies use AMBO-5 (155.4) for their operations. They may have a local frequency used for internal comms listed in the database. If they do, it would be under Readington.
This question has nothing to do with the thread though. The new UHF system is being used by fire only.
