If anybody can help..

The Inn at Pocono Manor in Poconos is sitting on pretty high spot, been in the area of the hotel on/off for few weeks now. The only license that came back was terminated frequency 154.5700. When on the property noticed the desk has VHF portable radio along with house keeping.

Frequency the strongest which is Repeated was 152.3450 or 152.3375 which comes up of course using the PRO164 which sucks trying find new frequencies to begin with.
Check the opposite side 157 range and found 157.xxx something forget, and could hear two units talking about Front Desk and door loud & clear also coming across repeater.

Of course no FCC License and the only other thought was Blue Mountain Ski Resort since they are licensed on 152.3375 RPT. .Dont think would be picking up input as clear if mountain range to mountain range.. your thoughts. Still have some more investigation to do next week when in area again.

Another one that eludes me is Great Wolf Lodge they use 461.775 and very active between Lifeguards, housekeeping etc. Have the other frequencies listed in FCC Database but cant find the other Go- To Frequencies.. This is a LTR system, searched the bands and cant locate the rest of the system any ideas?

Thanks, been working on these once in awhile, figured send cry out if anyone looking for investigation.

Pocono Manor had a license WNWP881 which was terminated last year. They have no current license for these frequencies and no applications pending. The frequencies were as follows:

152.3375 - Repeater
157.5975 - Input
154.5700 - 2w Low Power (MURS)

Great Wolf Lodge is licensed under WQDU397. That's a conventional license, not trunked. They have three repeaters licensed:

461.350
461.775
463.700

All of the LTR talkgroups for that system show in the database as being homed to LCN 01. It's possible that there are no other repeaters operational there.

You're 100% certain that 461.775 is still operating in LTR mode, correct?

So that's them.. 152.3375 bet they never followed threw with renewal. The input frequency came in clear as day which doesn't always mean everything and when checked FCC license didn't see that? Thanks
For great wolf did eneter all frequencies listed and numerous times was at facility with other talk groups talking and couldn't find it. Tried 450- 470 range and only 461.775 was coming in strong?

Great Wolf may only have the one repeater functional.

0-01-030 housekeeping
0-01-070 maintenance
As we have listed on data

Actually, the database lists the following:

0-01-020 Operations
0-01-040 Maintenance
0-01-060 Lifeguards

0-01-030 and 0-01-070 are not in the database.

Look at the talkgroups that are already in the database, compare them to what you've confirmed, then make a submission to the system. This way we can keep everything straightened out.

If they only have one repeater active, I suppose the radios are getting a busy signal if they try to key up while a talkgroup is already active.

Try using Signal Stalker on 460-470 and see if you can pick anything up that way. You may get a hit on the input, which will lead you right to the repeater output since UHF is 5 MHz offset.

Update to old thread.

I am at great wolf lodge. I created an Ltr system with the only frequently listed in the db. It was not working correctly. I deleted the frequency listed in the db and replaced it with 461.7625 nfm lcn 1 and it's working perfectly. I found 461.7625 using the custom search in the 460 range.

What's odd is that in custom search mode, cc channel only, it does stop on and identify 461.7750 as an Ltr system and gave off an id off the id of 0 01 030.

But it works as listed in my last post.

The departments are correct as listed seems to be the norm for the other resort sites as well.. I just dont get where they hop to when that frequency is busy?? but the system is always busy and maybe thats a reason why the Lifeguards are simplex now as well.

I pretty much only heard housekeeping and maintance. I did not hear any lifeguard or actually see any with any kind of radios. There may have been another frequently that I missed. The 461.7750 I'd as a Ltr system but was un readable.

What kind of scanner do you have? I have a br330t and I set my custom search from 450 to 470 mhz. I set it to c channel only. When there was a hit it would also show the tg.

Steve, now I have a bcd436hp and am going there in 1 month. After reading some stuff, I am confused.

As per the wiki here ,]Mapping an LTR System - The RadioReference Wiki , it says that " look for systems that have five or more frequencies, and check the licensee information for the FCC Station Class Codes. If it is "FB2" that usually means it is a standalone dedicated or community repeater operation, not LTR. However, if it is "FB4, FB6, or FB8", that is a good clue that the operation is LTR."

Their license shows ULS License - Industrial/Business Pool, Conventional License - WQDU397 - GREAT WOLF LODGE - Frequencies Summary
Freq.........Station Class

461.3500 FB2
461.3500 MO
461.7750 FB2
461.7750 MO
463.7000 FB2
463.7000 MO
466.3500 MO
466.7750 MO
468.7000 MO

3 pairs
461.3500 / 466.3500
461.7750 / 466/7750
463.7000 / 468.7000

And the database shows talk groups. So is this still an LTR system? Have you got any new information or freqs?

Nothing new they are still using 461.775 as primary frequency and have not been able to find the go to frequency as of yet. Since my time up in that area is limited would love to try search around during check in/out times when they seem be most active. Even the Lifeguards are still on the trunk system but have a simplex frequency they use.

I am not that familiar with ltr. Did you have this set up as a system with all 3 freqs or just the one? Is a go to freq the same as a voice channel? If you have any idea of a range the go to might be in let me know because I am bringing my br330t and my bcd436hp.
