New site in Colleton County @ Stephen's X Rds.

WQSM423 is a new site in Colleton County on the Palmetto 800 System. Its to extend coverage in the upper part of Colleton County now that Colleton County is utilizing the Pal800 system.

It is located at Stephen's X Rds. near Bells off SC 64.
SIDE OF SC HWY 64, 2 MILES NE OF INT. US 21 & SC 64
WALTERBORO, SC COLLETON County 32-59-39.5 N, 080-52-39.3 W

As of last week it wasn't operational yet.

Please let us know when/if you hear it come online and what site number it displays.

This site is now fully operational. It appears to be rebanded and the control channel is 853.900MHz. It is listed as Site 64 Colleton NW, but is referred to as the Stephens X Rds. by Colleton County.

Is there anyway for me to monitor Colleton County from Beaufort county by programming frequencies or local tower but talk groups for Colleton?
