Hi all,

can anyone confirm if 33.04 Rehbein Transit out of Circle Pines uses a DPL of 115?

Heard here in Ireland via skip. Female dispatcher talking about "Bridges" program and "Oak Grove Middle School"

I think this is in Shoreview, MN.

Any help would be very gratefully received.

Did you get any other place references like street names or anything else? That would be some impressive skip if it from here!

Hi Matt,

there were time checks that were US central Time and some references to "Goose Lake Road" which may be in St Paul (there are two other roads with this name across greater Minneapolis)

I will try to get other recordings when conditions return. The solar storm the other day has killed a good deal of the North American reception off for now.

Paul.

I know they used to cover the White Bear Lake district which one of the goose lake roads would be in but I havent seen them in the area as much recently.

That doesn't sound like any Minnesota system. Maybe Chicago? In/around the metro we are all on the Minnesota ARMER system which doesn't have the "repeater" noise with every transmission. But I am pretty darn sure Chicago does.

Yes Rehbein is using DPL 115

Hi Paul,

I can confirm the Rehbein is using DPL 115. Their buses serve the Centennial school system in Anoka Co Minnesota. 33.04 is their primary channel for buses serving regular school routes. As far as I can tell 33.08 is their channel for buses running special services like field trips etc. Their base is in Lino Lakes MN, their antenna is a coaxial sleeve vertical on about a 50 foot tower. Good catch ! I listen to them daily to see what delays are running. I drive by their base at least twice daily. There is little low band use but I hear Kottkes Bus Service in Andover MN on 47.500.
