CMP has been upgrading their poles from Eliot thru South Berwick-after the gas company did some feild work all winter.( the power lines are right over the gas lines ) There is currently a helicopter over me running lines. I have not heard it yet, but here are 3 freqs i picked up today cruising around them.
151.715--dc--116
467.6375--csq
467.925--67.0

I think these are the same frequencies you reported that were doing the paving/traffic updates awhile back?

Are you monitoring their LTR system? That may be what you're getting with those UHF frequencies you've found.

CMP is not installing the lines, they're contractors with their own radios. Lost in Maine is correct, CMP is 800MHz LTR.

O.K, you are correct, contractors are doing the job, however I've discoverred and confirmed that the flaggers are in a flagging industry with multiple offices in Maine. The same EXACT guys that were in on flagging while paving was going on in South berwick are the same guys doing the flagging at Emery's bridge and I've seen them at the 236 and route 101 crossing in Eliot. So, with that in hand-it stands to reason why 467.6375 csq is being heard again. 464.550 dc 743 belongs to the wire hangers. Every time I see the helicopter helping them-464.500-csq has a weird signal to it. It sounds like a key-up with static transmitted. Bursts for about an hour-or until the chopper is gone. 464.500 -dc - 654 is the cement trucks coming and going--Hisson from Eliot is the 1 I caught/confirmed. There are 2 other companies running around as well. But no luck getting a signal. Probably nexden or trbo anyway...

I got to see (2?) companies setting a pole this morning at the town forest entrance. They were blowing my scanners apart on 151.505--pl-97.4...I thought that freq was being used by a roofing company, til I saw them talk. The trucks I saw were Hawkeye and Elecnor Hawkeye. I'm still working on 151.715--dc-116, they went right by me, and I missed them. A helicopter went by and I caught that weird signal burst again on 464.500

I have information on cmp on their LTR system in York county. On my uniden I program File New, LTR Trunk. I input CMP, then site-1 under frequancies I input 855.3125, 857.3125,858.3125, 858.7875, 859.3125, 859.3375, 859.9125, 860.7875. LCN 1. All talk groups are, 0-01-140, 0-01-149, 0-01-115
0-01-151, 0-01-152, 0-01-157
these are everyday radio communications. have had this for about 8 months and working well. The radio reference CMP LTR system does not work I hear nothing on this rather large system.
