Trying to open sdr.exe

I have attached a screen print of an error message when trying to open sdr.exe. I have it running on one laptop. Trying to get it running on another. I followed same instructions for both computers.

Try right click on sdr.exe and chose 'run as administrator'

It is possible that sdr.exe is in different folders on your 2 pc's and the folder on the pita pc is not allowing you the proper privilege to run the program.

so you copy the additional .dll in the folder?

Which additional .dll are you referring to. I am thinking about deleting everything i have downloaded on the netbook and starting fresh. What is proper way of deleting all these downloaded files?

I deleted all files and folders and started all over. Still getting same message. This are my options when right clicking on sdr.exe

is this your office pc or your home pc?

Ok sorry didn't read your reply thru entirely, since right clicking on sdr.exe brought that pop up on the screen then you are not a administrator of that PC.

If your on a networked/ work PC and you don't have admin privs then you don't have any choice but to get your IT geeks to grant you admin rights.

This is a notebook laptop at home. No network.

SDR Sharp does not need to be run as Admin, or at least for me it doesn't.

It runs great on my other laptop. I was hoping to get it running on this smaller laptop so I could take it with me as I travel.
