856.7875 in OKC

This morning, I stumbled upon a p25 control channel at 856.7875. I have been monitoring with Unitrunker, but there has been zero activity so far. The band is a bit open, but this signal is very strong - I heard it on a rubber duck inside my house.

Any ideas?

It might not have been in your local area. See if it is still there this afternoon. This morning conditions were real good here too. I was able to key up a UHF repeater in Fort Worth from here in Wichita Falls with a 2W hand held.

It appears that OUHSC police has turned on their control channel. They have a license for 4 trunked frequencies.
