That is normal for those types of systems. For EDACS you have to edit the channels. Use "[F]ind -> [C]hannel" to locate the channel details. Type in the frequency there.

For VHF/UHF Motorola you can either edit channels just like EDACS systems or specify a band plan. See a related thread under this topic that covers this in more detail. Look for subject line "Can I determine Base / Offset / Spacing?".

You're running beta software so docs are sparse. In fact, you're running an OLD version of the beta. Read the "UniTrunker 2nd public beta" thread under this forum. This is a problem with the newer beta not working on Windows 98 so you may be stuck with the older version for the time being.

If you used default install, Program files->rfmobile->UniTrunker should have a Universal Trunker doc in Word.

thank's for the answer

just one other question,
when I am in the window of "[F]ind -> [C]hannel",
the frequency in written but I'm not sure how to "apply the changes"
is it only by pressing "Enter" ? <-- it's becose the frequency does not seem to stay in "the memory of the software"
Do I also have to enter a the "Lcn" number at the same time ?
Thank's again

Hi Match;

If you want to edit an existing channel - use Find. You can find a channel by it's LCN or channel number. Once the channel details appear, use the tab key to scoot down to the frequency field and type the frequency (in Mhz) there.

If you want to add channels that are not already present, use Insert. You don't have to specify a frequency but you do need to specify the channel number so that the program can distinguish it from other channels.

one other thing,
it will seem strange, I need to know on what key do I have to press to save the freqs.
I do
insert, chanel, I enter a lcn, a freq, I go to listen and press "backspace"
It seem that the freq is not stored ...

thank's again

I would think the blue & yellow design would be to much for a 9 pin, but the 741 amp design should fit with proper placement of components. Of course diode and cap polarity is critical.

Also, the output at pin 6 of the op amp is either DSR or CTS to pin 8 of DB9. During operation, you may need to invert the signal to determine which is actually in use.
