Kaufman County Texas- Kemp Area

Just relocated to Kaufman County in the Kemp area. I am receiving the S/O on 155.5875 poorly in this area. I believe there is only one tower located in Kaufman.

Can anyone tell me what frequency Kemp PD uses?

Are you set to FM Narrow? I can hear Kaufman County from Allen. Do you hear any traffic on the old freq, 155.52?

Any one know why they changed from 155.520? Now I hear Ellis County on 155.580. My old Rat Shack scanners don't have PL. All my newer scanners have died and I can't afford to update.

In Ellis Co. that freq. is used for fire dispatch. Don't know the PL offhand and I'm not at my scanner. I noticed traffic awhile back on that freq. but couldn't hear it due to having PL on the receive of my FT-2800. I turned off PL on receive and heard law enforcement traffic. There was an officer out on a traffic stop on 175 and another officer checked out with him. I didn't listen long enough to determine if it was Kaufman S.O. or Kemp PD but someone over there is using it for law enforcement purposes.
