Hey
I need an VHF Yagi. So i look in an German Online Store who offer me additional Airline Miles and a 5€ Discount. On my first view i found that Antenna who look good. Here is the Data sheet from the Company who build it: (German olny)

I would need it to discover Strange Signals in VHF and UHF.

The antenna you found is for television reception. It does not seem to be made for continuous use from 174 to 862 MHz by looking at the shape and the specifications. It also has a built in amplifier, which is ok but may cause problems in a large city with lots of transmitters.

These can be found on Ebay for very cheap prices and you would have to mount it so the elements are all vertical for use with a typical VHF/UHF receiver or scanner.

For that sort of frequency coverage, you might be better off with a log-periodic design. It'll have some directional properties, and will cover VHF and UHF.

The OP hasn't given his location, IMHO he's not in the US.
