HP-1: One GPS to TM-710 and HP1

Has anyone ever got this serial cable splitter to work

I would like to have one gps puck for both my hp1 and 710 radio....

I haven't tried this or the Uniden puck but I did make a custom cable for my Garmin GPSIII+ to connect to up to 4 scanners and my TMD-700A. I just connected the Transmit, Receive and commons together and it all worked fine.

I would imagine that this should work well, especially since it is one way data.

Ok. I will try doing it the way u described. I like to keep things neat and tidy in the car
