Silent Key
Out of frustration, I finally developed my own simple BCDx36HP recording tool. It's a command line based tool that reads all of the recordings in the user specified folder, parses the headings, and creates a webpage on your desktop. When opened, the webpage displays:
timestamp
duration of recording
talkgroup name
talkgroup ID (or conventional frequency and related data)
radio ID (if captured)
department name
system name
site name
favorites list name
The timestamp is a clickable link that allows you to click to play the recording.
The columns are click-sortable.
The program allows filtering on file scan:
suppress recordings of less than X seconds (3 seconds is the current default)
system
department
talkgroup
site (trunked systems)
If anyone would like to give it a try, PM me with an email address and I'll send you a copy to test.
Be forewarned - it is a Windows executable. I can promise I didn't include any hidden surprises but other than that, I offer no warranties.
I am interested in having some folks test it out and give me some feedback and suggestions on additional options.
