Hearing a fire repeater on 154.160, D506. It sounds like it is from SW Michigan, I heard a reference to Ottawa.

The traffic sounded more like fireground traffic but I have only been hearing it for a few minutes.

MDC is used, 7101 was one of the ID's heard.

Any ideas?

Correct - It's northern half of Ottawa County's primary fire dispatch channel.

I contributed a lot of information to the wiki years ago explaining all that stuff.

7101 is a County Sheriff Supervisor, MDC (assume Mobile Data Computer) is a new one, are you sure it wasn't MCT (Mobile Computer Terminal?) Regardless they are likely interchangeable.

MDC is the Motorola ANI scheme used by many conventional radio systems. I have an MDC decoder that displays the ID's.

TMA! (Too many acronyms)

I will submit this to the database for correction, thanks!
