Has anyone had the chance to compare the Phase II TDMA audio/decoding of the BCD 436 HP & the new WS 1080 on Loudoun Co VA ? I am wondering if it's better than the 436 ?

if they fix the audio problem, they will be very rich.the scanner companies should just memek the design of the Motorola design it comes to the codec, dsp and attenuation.
the DSP just does not do a good job after decoding very high and very low pitched voice patterns. Ambe compresses audio at double the rate of imbe. The scanner juat does not know what to do when settings are set to factory defaults. it also cannot pick a tower and stick to it. I cannot wait for the conventional TDMA protocol to be released.
