Can the PSR 500 be upgraded to receive TDMA voice?

I don't believe the hardware can handle TDMA (if I recall previous discussion).

It can decode the control channel of these systems.

The P25 control channel does not change between Phase I and Phase II P25 systems. The way voice data is encoded and decoded is handled by different hardware that doesn't exist within the PSR-500. The only scanners that contains the needed hardware to decode P25 Phase II is the Uniden BCD436HP, BCD536HP, Whistler WS1080, and no longer manufactured GRE PSR-800.
