Kings County Rescue 16???

Hi, I just heard a unit go in quarters to one of the Kings County fire stations by the unit name Rescue 16. In all my years monitoring this agency, I have never heard this designator. Any idea who it may belong to and why it's here?

Rescue 16 is a crew cab used to pull OES heavy rescue trailer assigned to Kings County. The trailer's designation was Rescue 16, so that's what they call the truck.

Thanks for the information. Prior to this posting I had never heard that unit designator before. Did they just get the truck and trailer?

Yup, just the truck and trailer. Fresno County got the MIGU (Mobile Interoperable Gateway Unit).
