Question about the Uniden software.

When using the Uniden Software to program the 436/536.

When it displays the UID. If I know which unit it is, am I able to change it to display that information?

So instead of numbers, I could have it display "Ambulance XYZ"?

I'm not sure if you can change the ID itself, but you should be able to create a custom channel name like you can with any other scanner, and/or change the display so the ID doesn't show at all.

Create a favorites list and enter in the UID along with your preferred alias there.
