When using FREE SCAN. Just one small question

When I upload all my programming it has a box you can click on called ETR BOX which can help or hurt your receiving.

Does anyone have this box checked and if so what will it do to the scanner as far as receiving or not receiving???

Thats DTR and only has to do with communications between software and scanner. Enabling or disabling it will do nothing to help your radio reception.
