Ok so when the name of your town starts with "Village of..." and your radio system has a price tag of over $18 Million dollars and will require another $5 million to fix it because it never worked right to begin with, there is a very high likelihood of impropriety. The feds need to look into this bunch.

I like how they only mention the 30 million dollar system, the most expensive alternative, and not the other systems that were bid to provide portable coverage throughout the county.

Uhh...it's a countywide radio system...did you even read the first line of the article...

Yet another lesson that the low bid isn't always the best... should have went with the original design that was awarded before this fiasco started spiraling out of control...
