I like the line, "When people realize they're being video-taped, they tend to be on their best behavior," Cecchini said. Obviously he has never watched an episode of "COPS".

Body worn camera coverage is very limited compared to Dash Cameras which have a wide view angle and are also useful for traffic offense and chase documentation. The bodycam would have the advantage in a one-on-one situation however, provided the camera is activated and the officer learns how to keep it aimed with his position and does not block it's view.

It will be interesting to see how this "pans" out :)

In an effort to stop the reports I'm going to offer the advice that if the regional threads don't interest you, don't read them. Like Mike said we allow some flexibility on the topics in the regional forums. This is indirectly connected to the agencies we monitor so it's OK. Not everything needs to be radio related.
