NAS Jax Airshow

NAS Jax Airshow is scheduled for this weekend 10/25 & 26, with a practice day on Friday the 24th. Blue Angels are the big performer. Per a NOTAM NAS Jax (KNIP) Tower freq has changed from 120.0 to 125.15. Per the air show website "radio controlled devices" are prohibited.

I saw this on the news a few nights ago about saying Blue Angels are coming back to Jax for the Air shows.

I miss going to Practice Fridays at the NASJAX Target store.

Make sure to listen to the Blue Angels talkgroups....on the NASJAX TRS.

NOTAM shows a change in tower frequency to 125.15 effective for this week.

Airshow Jacksonville

Yesterday I thought I would listen to the Blue Angles. Do not really listen to mil-air and was it boring. All I heard was the pilots singing saying goofy stuff. Maybe it is common but I guess I will not listen today.

They do that so they know where they are in the routine. Each syllable has a specific meaning in their formation and each pilot knows what they are to be doing because of it.
