Feature request - Identity of receivers

Now that I have my SDR setup I'm starting to add new signal receivers for the various systems' control channels. Keeping track of each signal receiver is a bit difficult as there doesn't seem to be a way to meaningfully identify each receiver.

I was thinking a new field entered in the receiver setup that allows user input would help, especially if this field were displayable in the main receivers dialog.

It's possible I am missing something obvious but I don't see a way to "label" my signal receivers.

Recevier labelling is an item on the things-to-do list.

For the RTL sticks, with a little effort you can use the rtl-sdr utility "rtl_eeprom" to assign different serial numbers.

In UniTrunker, you can edit the Model field to have different names...

That's true for Debug receivers and discriminator audio only (signal only) receivers.

But if you have two BCD396XT's, for example, you have to look at the serial ports to tell them apart.
