I was in Geneseo for a few hours this weekend and monitored 155.130, PL 107.2 but didn't hear even one transmission.

Might have the frequency or PL changed?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

I know that in years past that channel didn't get a lot of use, as they are dispatched by the sheriff's office 24/7. It was mainly used for car-to-car when 2 or more cars on, or during special events/details. Used to have SUNY Geneseo college DPS capabilities in the cars as well, with the college right in the village.

Thanks Dave. I wasn't aware that they were dispatched by LCSO. That would explain the lack of traffic on that frequency. <grin>

With this new info, does anyone have info on car designations for the Geneseo cars?

It's in the Wiki way down at the bottom of the page, there's a link for Law Enforcement. Car numbering is there.
