So ever since all these new Engines around town have had the NFPA 1901 Chevrons added I have been hooked on them. So much so that I wanted to see what it looked like painted on a wall. So before doing one complete wall I did a small section above my radios. As far as I know this is the first wall painted like this lol
Oh and the radios are used for HAM/FIRE/EMS/State Police :D

Nice! I think I'd stick with just the area there between the doors and not an entire room with the chevrons but it's a nice touch!

One of our local volunteer departments did this on all four of their bay doors.

Unfortunately they were mostly open when the Google Street View car went by...

Awesome

I've seen 3M reflective tape just like that, it would look cool on the back of your vehicle.
I wonder if progressive offers a discount for high visibility safety accessories on the vehicle?

Looks great just the way it is!

BTW, did you run the wires for the radios thru the wall?

I'm waiting for the chevron patterns to be screen printed on the back of firefighter T shirts, since they seem to be cropping up everywhere else. :p

(I've paid my "fire service dues", 39 years worth).

Good set-up and as long as the chevrons are retro-reflective, I imagine it's NFPA 1901 compliant.
