stanley county/albemarle

just curious-i saw on viper all of the stanley county systems. are they using viper,or using it only for back up? i wont update my home patrol till next week. was hoping it might be something i could hear. thanks.

The last time I monitored Stanly County

EMS was crossed patched to Viper

I can't remember right off the top of my head if the sheriff's department was or not.

I will try and do some more monitoring over the weekend and see what I can pick up.

I may also try and talk to some of the local fire departments and see what they can tell me as well.

I know that there is preparations for Stanly County to become a part of the Char/Meck 800 Mhz. P-25

System.

This is the same system that Char/Meck, Cabarrus, Union, and Gaston are using.

Stanly sheriff and stanly fire are on viper and are simulcast from old vhf freqs....stanly ems has been on viper for a good while now....
