Not exactly a new repeater. 156.2100 FB2 is/was( haven't monitored in a while) Haz DPW with 158.9700 input. Looking at 0006447635 modification dated 9-4-2014, they added 154.04750 as FB and MO, and they modified 158.9700 to have a max ERP of 50.000. Not sure what that is all about.

Back in the day, 156.2100 was the PD, but when 911 took over, this went to DPW. I don't know about "TO PROVIDE REPEATER SERVICE FOR PORTABLE USE." since they did not add any repeater, but maybe the PD is going back on this, and maybe DPW will use the new FB/MO.. I'll put it back in and see what comes.

I wish HPD stayed on 156.2100. I was able to pick that up. As soon as they went over to County I lost them. I'm too far away and in one of the actual "dead spots" in the County so I'm not even going to bother trying to see if I can get 154.0475 to come in for anything. I am curious to see what it's being used for though.

Apparently, HPD is now using 156.210 Rptr 173.8 PL as Tac#1. As with most Tac freq's, the usage is very infrequent..1 or 2 times/day. What I found unusual was hearing the county 911 on this, acknowledging they were on Tac#1. Normally, the county does not use/is not licensed for "local" channels.

What I don't hear is DPW on any of freq on this license.

Interesting. Sort of like how Wilkes Barre PD uses their Channel 2 then? I'm surprised the County would add the frequency to transmit on instead of just leaving it to HPD alone. Very interesting.
I wonder what happened to DPW though. But then again I never understood why PD & DPW swapped frequencies when HPD went over to 911. Was i a coverage issue or something internally?

Heard DPW on 156.2100 203.5 PL, so it would appear as if the PD & DPW share this freq now. This is fairly common with the smaller townships, but I'm a little surprised they would do it for a big city. The Signal was weaker than I remember for PD TAC1 but it is also a repeater. This begs the question, where have they been up until this big snow fall?

I don't know how often they are using it but I haven't been able to pick up anything on 156.21 but the other day with the cold and cloudy weather I was actually able to hear a very broken up HPD on their dispatch channel. That's very rare for me to be able to pick up since they made the unfortunate move to 911.

Heard Both DPW and HPD today and still on the same freq. HPD had a RSSI of 380, and DPW 215. They each have their own PL, but I don't think that would control rptr output power. What seems more likely to me is that DPW has it's own rptr and even separate antenna. Very puzzling.

Sorry folks, but I got this one wrong. Turns out this Wyoming County PD changed their PL from 186.2 PL to 173.8 PL. So what I thought was Haz Tac 1 was really Wyoming Tac 1. 173.8 PL This would also explain why the signal strengths for PD and DPW were different.

So far, I can not identify any usage of 156.210 for any Haz agency except DPW, and no acdtivity on the new FB added, 154.0475,
