Schuylkill County Fire Tone Listing

Since I received no help with this topic, I started to compile a listing of tones.

Please feel free to add any you like to this thread. I will update the spreadsheet with new data as I get it.

If you see a mistake, Please post in this thread also.

You don't need to reply unless you can contribute to the list, as you are obviously not authorized to do.

Pager tones do not need to be exact anyways

I can't get your list to to open so I can't compare them to the limited few I have from Skook. Unfortunately over the last few years I've gone from being able to get Skook better than my own County to now only being able to pick them up on very rare occasions.

But if there's any specific departments you are looking for I can try and help ID them. The only catch is I'd have to know when they have a call so I can can ID it then. I don't currently have info on very many of the Skook departments.

Is all dispatch on high band now or is it still a mix with low band? If 46.5 is still used, is there a plan to go all 154.070?

154.070 is for voice paging, units don't talk on this frequency. All units now use the encrypted P25 system. I never monitored the 46.5 freq

I thought tones were dropped on either 154.070 or 46.500 for dispatch. I am not up there too often, but I recall having dispatch tones on both VHF high and low in the past. That is why I was wondering if everything has been migrated to the highband channel now with the radio upgrade.

I started this list from scratch 5 days ago, and I'm only monitoring 154.070, give me a few more weeks to see if I get them all on 154. If not, I'll try 46.5

I live in the western part of the county and have a BCT15X. The following tones i have programmed in the fire tone out successfully alert when a page goes out.
District 66 Tower City Fire (634.5/669.9)
Tower City EMS (634.5/707.3)
Porter Twp. Sheridan (903.2/832.5)
Porter Twp. Orwin (903.2/879.0)
District 13 Hegins (707.3/767.4) *Hegins Fire and Valley View Fire merged back in 2015* Now known as Hegins-Valley Fire Rescue with a single station in Hegins
District 58 Pine Grove North End (788.5/832.5)

I am still waiting for the next pager test for these i have programmed in
Porter Twp. Joliett (607.0/669.9) The 617.4/669.9 did not work on the last call that came through. I will have to see if my new combination works
Porter Twp Muir (903.2/651.9)
Porter Twp. Reinerton (903.2/510.5)

I also have 46.500 programmed but never hear anything on it. I believe all voice paging occurs on 154.070
152.18 is the county alpha paging frequency. Most EMS agencies have switched over to all alpha paging
I believe St Clair Fire and Coaldale Fire use all alpha paging. I never hear dispatches for them on 154.070

UPDATE
Porter Twp. Joliett (607.0/669.9) tone successfully alerts
Porter Twp. Muir (903.2/651.9) does not work. I have programmed in what the search feature told me, which is (907.2/652.9)
Still waiting on Porter Twp. Reinerton to see if it alerts or not

Right-To-Know request to Schuylkill County

For those interested, I submitted a Right-To-Know request to Schuylkill County for the Fire & EMS pager tones.

This was the response from the Board of Commissioners Office (My appeal is also in the attached file).
